Our guest speaker is Katie Kruzlic, a flight attendant at Frontier Airlines. She will discuss her path to becoming a flight attendant and how you can, too! She will also delve into some of the duties flight attendants perform daily in the airlines.
We will be opening positions for board members. If you are interested in signing up for a position, please attend this meeting! We also have snacks 😃
SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo

Due to how busy the aviation community is during this time, we will not have a meeting this month. We will have volunteer opportunities, including the SUN ‘n RUN 5K at Lakeland Linder International Airport! Stay tuned for more details.
Sun ‘n run 5k

Come volunteer with other chapter members during this spectacular event! This 5k takes place during the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo. With stunning sunrise views from the runway and taxiways, you can get up close and personal with the Thunderbirds aircraft, watch a hot air balloon launch, and raise money for Chapter scholarships! Click here to sign up! Duties include packet stuffing, handing out medals, etc. Coffee will be provided on Saturday morning!!

Road race at Lakeland Linder International Airport (LAL) during the 50th annual SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo on Saturday, April 13th at 7 am. The race will begin on the Terminal Ramp and take you across various other connecting taxiways and ramps to the finish line.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Women in Aviation Lakeland Chapter, CFAA PLANES (CFAA Parent Group), Lakeland Linder International Airport’s Aerospace Administration Scholarship, and the Lakeland Aeroclub, a flying club dedicated to high school flying enthusiasts.

Enjoy some tasty s’mores and hotdogs at the campground firepit at SUN ‘n FUN! Relax while making s’mores and socialize with your fellow Women in Aviation members. Share some of your favorite aviation stories and meet new people in the aviation community. This event is free; bring yourself or even a guest! All are welcome at Women in Aviation.
